-this came from a friend of mine:
Dear friends,
I hope you will be able to attend a hearing called by the SF Board of Supervisors to discuss the newly-implemented "gang injunctions" (we call them "neighborhood injunctions") in neighborhoods like the Mission and the Fillmore.
Please join us on MONDAY, DECEMBER 10, 10 AM, SF CITY HALL, 2ND FLOOR.
Youth, families, advocates and others will be testifying to the fact that these gang injunctions don't reduce violence, violate the civil rights of communities of color, further criminalize young people, and undermine the work of community-based organizations.
For more information, please feel free to contact me at renee@lrcl.org, or (415) 553-3404.
Thank you,
Renee Saucedo
